In early November, 2019, I attended the Petroglyph Festival in Ridgecrest, California.  Through the festival I was able to visit Little Petroglyph Canyon on the China Lake Naval Weapons Testing facility and in the Coso Rock Art District.  I was also able to visit the Ayer’s Rock pictograph site north of Ridgecrest as well as three  petroglyph sites north of Bishop, California.  For my blog post that includes this visit to California, look here. 

In May of 2021 I visited the Volcanic Tablelands once again, this time in a successful seach for Skyrock and 13 Moons.  To see my blog post about this trip, look here.  

In January of 2024 I visited California yet again and visited two sites:  the Blythe Intaglios and Chumash Painted Cave.
