Western Australia Rock Art Galleries: Kananurra, The Kimberly, and Kalumburu

After my time in Kakadu and Mt. Borradaile, I headed west to the Kimberly.  On the way I spent a couple of days in Kununurra, which bills itself as “The Gateway to The Kimberly”.  I visited rock art sites in Keep River National Park (which technically is on the far western edge of the Northern Territory), Middle Creek, and, on the trip back from the Mitchell Plateau in the Kimberly, a site on El Questro land.  Upon leaving Kununurra, I headed to the Mitchell Plateau and visited sites along the Gibb River, the King Edward River (Munurru), and around Mitchell Falls.  I then headed north to Kalumburu, where I visited several sites with an aboriginal guide.  Below are links to my Western Australia rock art galleries.  I hope you enjoy them!
