Locky, explaining the significance of "The Waiting Room".

The Waiting Room Gallery (and The Walk Back Gallery)

After visiting the Great Rainbow Serpent Cave, Locky took us to a nearby place he called “The Waiting Room”.  According to Locky, this space was used as a place for young aboriginals to wait, before taken to a nearby ritual site, perhaps the Great Rainbow Serpent Cave.  Part of the ritual process involved the placing of a handprint, or, “Connecting With Country”.  On the walk back to our vehicle at the trailhead, we took a different route, and saw some rock art along the way.  I have posted this gallery as “The Walk Back”.
