The Medicine Woman Panel At Ute Tribal Park

I visited the Medicine Woman Panel at Ute Tribal Park on June 7, 2018, with my friend Billy Ward and our guide, Ute Elder Gerald Ketchum.  To see my blog that covers our trip to the Ute Tribal Park, look here. This was the fifth site we visited that day.  It is a small site, consisting of only one panel.  According to Gerald, the medicine woman depicted in the panel is a historical figure who used to live in the canyon.  Apparently the three eyes designate some aspect of her powers as a medicine woman.  Here our a few photos from our visit.
