Taliesin West

I honestly can’t remember when, or where, I heard the name Taliesin West.  But I do know it was in the context of rock art (petroglyphs), that Frank Lloyd Wright incorporated into the materials and design of his winter home outside of Phoenix, Arizona.  In the Fall of 2022 I took a little rock art trip that was focused on hiking to backcountry sites in Petrified Forest National Park.  On my way home, I scheduled a stop at Taliesin West, mainly to see the petroglyphs at the site.  I accomplished my goal of seeing the petroglyphs, but I fell head over heels for the architecture, the art, and the life of Frank Lloyd Wright.  The result was Our Frank Lloyd Wright Project.  Below you will find links to several galleries associated with Taliesin West.  Click on the respective thumbnails to see these galleries.  Enjoy!
