After we finished our tour of the Bott House, we headed over for a “drive-by” look at the Sondhern/Adler House.  From the street you can’t see much, but what you can see looks very interesting.   I also drove down the hill to Roanoke Parkway (which the house overlooks) and hiked along the back fence line and could see a little more of the home, but not much.  From what I did see, and from the plans and comments in William Storrer’s The Frank Lloyd Wright Companion, this appears to be a very interesting house.  This is one of the least satisfying of our “drive-bys”–  there is just not much that can be seen from the nearby public areas (streets).  Here are my photos, none-th-less…
