THE TWO MAIN SNAKE PANELS LOCATED IN DRY WASH JUST OFF STATE ROAD 802 EAST OF EMERY, UTAH.

The Snake Panels Gallery (Emery, Utah Area)

I spent most of the morning of Thursday, March 22, 2018 exploring the area around Emery Utah.  On State Road 802 east of Emery, I visited a petroglyph site known for several large petroglyphs of snakes, hence the name that I call it by.  Besides the two main snake panels, there are also several other small panels nearby as well as some dinosaur tracks.  For my blog post that includes my visit to this site, look here.  Below are photos that I took at the site that morning–  I hope you enjoy them!

THE LARGEST OF THE PANELS AT THIS SITE HAS A NUMBER OF DIFFERENT SNAKE PETROGLYPHS.
A LITTLE CLOSER VIEW SHOWS DETAILS OF THE SNAKES AND OTHER ELEMENTS.
THIS LARGE, IMPRESSIVE SNAKE IS ON A NEARBY BOULDER.
THIS SHOT OF THE LARGE SNAKE SHOWS A LITTLE OF THE LANDSCAPE AS WELL.
THIS SMALL, BUT INTERESTING PANEL IS ALSO FOUND NEARBY. NOTE THE UNUSUAL ANTHROPOMORPH WITH THE SPIRAL BELLY.
ANOTHER SHOT FOR CONTEXT WITHIN THE LANDSCAPE OF THE AREA.
ONE FINAL SHOT OF THE SNAKE BOULDERS.
