The Rock Art Ranch Galleries

On the afternoon of Thursday, November 30, 2017, I visited Brantley Baird’s Rock Art Ranch outside of Winslow, Arizona.  I had originally planned to visit the ranch on Friday, but when I called Brantly Thursday Morning (about a month prior to my visit I called him and he said to just call the day before I wanted to visit) he said he was going elk hunting on Friday so I needed to come that day.  I was in Phoenix, so I headed immediately to the ranch, arriving there in the early afternoon.  Brantley showed me around his place, then, comfortable that I could be trusted, told me where the key was hidden and gave me directions to the canyon, which is located quite a distance from his ranch house.  So I headed over to the canyon and had the place all to my self.  I stayed there all afternoon and really enjoyed this magnificent place.  Hope you enjoy my photos from that day!

My September  28, 2024 Visit To Rock Art Ranch…
