Nourlangie Rock Galleries at Kakadu National Park
On the afternoon of September 9, 2019 I visited the rock art sites located at Nourlangie Rock within Kakadu National Park. I was so excited to see this place as it was the first rock art site I would visit on my Australian trip. The site was well signed and accessed by mostly paved trails. I was surprised at how few people were at this World Heritage site. I began at the Anabang Shelter area, before exploring the panels between there and the magnificent Anabang Gallery. This site did not disappoint! Hope you enjoy my photos from this special place.
The two galleries above were taken with my Samsung S9 cell phone. As I was going through my pictures, which are segregated by the device with which I took them, I realized I had taken no pictures of the the very interesting panel located above and behind the Anabang Shelter. I also realized the quality of my cell phone photos was not that great. So, the following galleries, which I took with my Nikon D7200, should be more complete, and hopefully of better quality.
