Mitchell Plateau Rock Art Site Galleries
I visited three main rock art areas on the Mitchell Plateau. The first was a site located near the Gibb River crossing on the Kalumburu Road. It is a small Wandjina site with a very interesting history. I camped the next several nights as I visited the two Munurra Sites (the Wandjina Site and the Brogla Site) which are located near the King Edward River crossing on the road to Mitchell Falls. While camping at the Mitchel Falls campground I visited three sites: Little Merten’s Falls, Bradshaw Rock, and the Cascades Cave Complex. Each of these sites were outstanding, and I am grateful that I got to experience them. Below are links to the galleries for these sites. Enjoy!
