The  Mary Cliff Site At Ute Tribal Park

I visited the  Mary Cliff Site at Ute Tribal Park on June 7, 2018, with my friend Billy Ward and our guide, Ute Elder Gerald Ketchum.  To see my blog that covers our trip to the Ute Tribal Park, look here. This was the third site we visited that day, down the road from Atlatl Point.  In my field notes I have “Mary Cliff Ruins”, but honestly, I do not recall any ruins here.  There are some pictographs and a few petroglyphs.  The pictographs almost look out of place, as Ute rock art often does. Not a particularly great rock art site, but interesting none the less.   Here our a few photos from our visit to Mary Cliff.
