On the way up to Colorado for the Crested Butte Conference and subsequent rock art trip with my friend Billy Ward, I stopped in Santa Fe the first night so I could visit the La Cieneguilla Petroglyph site located just outside of town.  I got up early on the morning of Sunday, July 23, 2017, and headed out to the site, arriving just as the sun was coming up.  I spent the morning exploring the area, and had a wonderful time.  This is an interesting site, and I hope to visit it again someday to explore the area more fully.  For directions and a little information about this BLM site, look here.  To see the blog I wrote about the trip where I visited this site, look here.  Here are a few of the photographs I took on my visit.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed my visit to the site!
