Gonad Man Gallery

After spending most of the day at Cedar Point, Vaughn, Billy, and I stopped by a site that Vaughn called “Gonad Man” on our way back to Bluff.  Gonad Man is a large petroglyph that depicts a male of obvious high status.  The figure is adorned with a head ornament, a gorget, items in both hands, and very prominent male genitalia.  There was also some rock art worth seeing on the hike to see Gonad Man.  Also of interest was the approach to the site–  you had to crawl through a small opening to reach the petroglyph, which overlooks a small canyon on the backside of a rock ridge.  Hope you enjoy my photos of this beautiful place!
