False Gorge Gallery, Kalumburu, Western Australia
At 8 a.m. on Saturday morning, September 21, 2019, I met up with my guide for the day, Clarence Djangharu, affectionately known around town as “Clarrie”. We met at the mission, then took my vehicle and headed north out of town to our first rock art site, which Clarrie said is known as the False Gorge Site. It was a small, nondescript site, with just a few panels of art. There was also a small shelter near the art, but it had no art. Here are some of the photos I took at the site.
