THE COURTHOUSE WASH SITE

On March 23, 2018, I visited the Courthouse Wash Site in Arches National Park, just north of Moab, Utah.  You can hike to the site from inside the National Park, but, due to time constraints, I chose to hike up to the site from the highway just outside the south boundary of the park.  I can only imagine how magnificent this site was in its prime.  It suffered vandalism in 1980, and park personnel made an effort to rehab the panel.  (See this link for more information:  https://www.nps.gov/arch/learn/historyculture/courthouse-wash.htm ).  It is still an interesting site, and I am glad I got to see the rock art located there.  Hope you enjoy my photos!

If you look closely, you can see a family at the panel. They were climbing down as I climbed up to the site.
