Christmas 2017

We had a quiet Christmas in 2017, spending the day at your Aunt Liz and Uncle David’s home, along with your Great Grandmother Bebe.  To be honest, I was still exhausted following the death of my sister Molly Burleigh.  I don’t know if you will even remember her, or if anyone told you of her death.  She was such a sweet, sweet person, and loved you grandkids very much.  I was her caregiver in her last days, and it wore me our physically, spiritually, and financially.  The highlight of my Christmas was seeing two pictures of you grandkids that your Grandmother Gail posted on Facebook.  Karate uniforms and some different hairstyles!  Those pictures are the sum total of what we know about you in 2017.  This was our fourth Christmas without you in our lives but we had not given up hope that someday we will get to see you again.  Below are the two pictures of you from Facebook, and a couple of pictures from our Christmas. 

Your Grandmother Gail posted this picture on December 8, 2017. I gather it has become a tradition for you to build gingerbread houses each year at her house. You are looking sharp in those uniforms!
