The  Chief Jack House Site At Ute Tribal Park

I visited the Chief Jack House Site at Ute Tribal Park on June 7, 2018, with my friend Billy Ward and our guide, Ute Elder Gerald Ketchum.  To see my blog that covers our trip to the Ute Tribal Park, look here. This was the seventh site we visited that day.  There are a number of pictographs, most of them drawn by Chief Jack House, the last traditional chief of the Mountain Ute Tribe.  The site is near the location of the hogan-like structure where the Chief lived for many years.  Here are a few photos from our visit.Â
