I paid two visits to petroglyph sites at Cerro La Calera.  Cerro La Calera is a small mountain located on Rancho Puerto Blanco, a few kilometers west of Caborca, Mexico.  La Calera is located to the southeast of a larger mountain named La Proveedra.  On the morning of Wednesday, October 30, 2019, Senor Jose Mendez  (the owner of Rancho Puerto Blanco) took me to several sites located on the western side of the mountain.  The next day I spent the morning hiking and exploring the northern tip of the mountain (near the dam) and sites along the eastern side of the mountain.  I saw some beautiful rock art at La Calera….hope you enjoy my photos!
