The main panel at the magnificent Cascade Falls Site.

The Cascade Falls Rock Art Site Galleries

Undoubtedly, the highlight of my time in the Kimberly was finding the Cascade Falls Site.  Lee Scott Tribute had drawn me a rough sketch of where she thought the sight was located and it still took me hours of hiking and bushwacking to finally find the site.  It was a great day for this old man!  The site itself was magnificent.  The main cave entrance (on the river side) had two large, round rocks displayed prominently.  Lee told me later that this was a serpent site, and the aboriginals believe these rocks are in fact serpent “eggs”.  I will let my photos do the talking for this special place…enjoy!

The galleries and videos above were taken at Cascade Falls with my Samsung S9 cell phone.  The photos below were taken with my Nikon D7200 camera…

The two large, almost perfectly round rocks that rest at the entrance to Cascade Cave. The aboriginals believe these are "Serpent Eggs".
This stunning panel of Bradshaw images is, in my opinion, the finest panel at the Cascade Falls Site.
Another truly stunning panel at Cascade. A variety of colors, ages, and styles!
The small ceiling of a small alcove next to Cascade Cave has some interesting art!
A little bit of natural beauty that I saw on the hike back to the Mitchell Falls Campground from Cascade Falls. What a great day for this old man!
