Box Canyon Galleries

On Wednesday October  19, 2022, I visited an area in Petrified Forest N.P. that I have chosen to call Box Canyon.  This particular area as also been referred to as part of  “Beyond Martha’s Butte”, “Mountain Lion Mesa”, and “Starving Man Cliffs”.  Whatever you choose to call it, this small area, located primarily in a closed end box canyon, contains a number of interesting panels of petroglyphs.  I revisited the Box Canyon area on Friday, October 21, 2022, and have added a few photos to the galleries from that visit.  To visit my blog that includes my visits to this site, look here.  Below are photos I took those days.  I hope you enjoy them!
