On the tail end of our ill-fated Ennis Wildflower Trip, we made a quick stop at Miller’s Smokehouse in Belton as we tried to outrun the front that was headed into north and central Texas.  Unfortunately, I have misplaced my notes and about all we can remember about this joint was that IT WAS GOOD!  The brisket, ribs, and chicken were excellent.  The sides, especially the broccoli salad, were also very good.  The physical facility was sparkling clean (the restrooms were great), sleek, and very roomy.  As we were leaving after our meal, there was a very long line —  this is a popular joint that we would certainly recommend to any BBQ aficionado.  Here are a few pics from our visit.

THE LINE WAS NOT LONG WHEN WE FIRST GOT THERE, BUT IT BEGAN TO FILL UP FAST.
THE SERVING LINE WAS CLEAN AND EFFICIENT. THE MENU IS PLEASINGLY SIMPLE.
MILLER'S ALSO HAD AN EXPRESSO BAR THAT ALSO SERVED UP ADULT BEVERAGES, SUCH AS MIMOSAS.
MILLER'S ALSO HAVE A NICE ASSORTMENT OF DESSERTS. THE DISPLAY CASE WAS EXTRA CLEAN!
THE LARGER DINING ROOM LOOKED LIKE IT COULD BE OPEN-AIR IN GOOD WEATHER.
NOW THAT IS SOME GOOD LOOKING BBQ! IT TASTED AS GOOD AS IT LOOKED!
THE BRISKET WAS MOIST, TENDER, AND HAD A NICE BARK WITH PLENTY OF FLAVOR.
YOURS TRULY, CHOWING DOWN AT MILLER'S SMOKEHOUSE.
DOROTHY, ENJOYING HER MILLER'S SMOKEHOUSE RIBS.
AS WE WERE LEAVING MILLER'S SMOKEHOUSE, THE LINE WAS DOWN THE STREET AND AROUND THE CORNER.
ONE FINAL PIC OF SOME DARN GOOD RIBS!
