Falfurrias Rest Stop eBird Hotspot Map

The eBird “Explore Hotspots” function is such a useful feature!  When I travel, I pull up the eBird map and look for Hotspots along my proposed route.  Early in my birding adventures, I found the Salt Lake site near Luling, Texas, using this feature.  Below is a screen shot of the Falfurrias Rest Stop which I visited twice on my Father’s Day 2020 Birding Trip.  Without this eBird feature, I would have passed this wonderful site by!  In other words, I would highly recommend eBird’s “Explore Hotspots” feature to anyone interested in watching birds!
