The Hidden Cave and Crossed Swords Galleries

On the late morning of Saturday, September 14, 2019, Locky and I visited our final site of my trip to Mt. Borradaile, a site known as “Hidden Cave”.  The climb up to this site made me appreciate the fact that it truly was hidden.  It tested my climbing abilities to say the least.  I actually decided I was not going to risk the final part of the climb and handed my cell phone to Locky so he could take some photos for me. But, as I waited for him, I was able to find a different route up.  I am glad I did, because the art in this place was outstanding.  After we climbed down, Locky showed me one final panel which he comically calls “Crossed Swords”.  It appears to be anthropomorphic figures with large genitalia that are exhibited like crossed swords.  Hope you enjoy my photos from this place!
