Nawulbinbin Rock Art Galleries (Joe Creek, Gregory National Park)

I visited the Nawulbinbin Site on September 15th, 2019.  I really didn’t know what to expect at this place, and was pleasantly surprised to find  a very nice trail, a considerable amount of interesting rock art, and signage that was very informative.  I was driving from Katherine to Kununarra, and was hoping to just stretch my legs with a little walk.  What I found was a beautiful landscape that deserved more time than I could afford to give it.  Kuddos to the Judburra/Gregory National Park for making the the Joe Creek area and the Nawulbinbin Walk and Rock Art a very nice place to visit!

A Couple of Shots of the Landscape....

The base of the cliff that contains the rock art was quite lush and tropical.
The trail follows the base of the cliffs. The return hike is down in the flats below the escarpment.
