Kununurra Area Rock Art Galleries, Western Australia

On my drive in to Kununurra, I stopped just before the Western Australia border and visited Keep River National Park.  I hiked along the mostly dry Keep River to the Jenemoom Site.  There are several nice panels of rock art along this site.  The next morning I went back to Keep River and hiked out to the Nigli Gap site, which I found disappointing.  I spent that afternoon out at the Middle Creek Complex, which is about 45 kilometers west of Kununurra on private cattle station land.  The final site I visited in the Kununurra area was Gninglig, which is on El Questro property about 10 kilometers from the intersection of Gibb River Road and the Victoria Highway.  I felt priviliged to have permission to visit this sacred place.  Below are links to the Kununurra area galleries.  I hope you enjoy them!
