THE FIVE MILE PANEL IN POISON SPRING CANYON

This was the first panel I located in Poison Spring Canyon.  To my knowledge, this panel does not have a common name, so I decided to call it the “Five Mile Panel”, since it is located a little over five miles from Highway 95 on the Poison Spring Canyon Road.  It is not an especially large or distinguished work of rock art, but it was interesting, with a number of intriguing elements.  I hope you enjoy my photos!

A Few More Photos of the Landscape and Some Details...

The panels are located on this convex, unprotected surface.
A beautiful snake spiral.
Don't quite know what to make of this little element. A hunched back, a single head ornament, holding or handing something?
Does the taller figure have a tail?
