Anasazi Ridge Galleries

On the morning of July 12, 2019, I had the pleasure of visiting the Anasazi Ridge area of the BLM managed Santa Clara River Reserve, located outside of St. George Utah.  The weather was perfect as I hiked up to the top of the ridge on a well maintained trail.  Once up top, I began to see petroglyphs on the flat surfaces of the rocks along the rim.  Climbing down to the first ledge below the rim, I located a number of very nice panels.  I was pleasantly surprised at the quantity, the quality, and the variety of the rock art at this place.  I spent several hours exploring, and enjoyed my time there.  Here are some of the photos I took at Anasasi Ridge (the first galleries were taken with my Nikon D7200 camera)…
