Yellow-backed Oriole

Icterus chrysater

eBird offers this description for the Yellow-backed Oriole:  Attractive black-and-yellow oriole. Mainly in pine-oak forest of highlands, but also in humid tropical lowlands of Yucatan Peninsula. Often in flowering trees with other species of orioles. Both sexes have a yellow head and body with a small black mask and throat patch, black wings and tail. Bill is straight and pointed. Richly whistled and slightly halting song carries well.

I saw this bird for the first time on the early afternoon of November 15, 2024, during my trip to Belize with The Texas Ornithological Society, near the grounds of Lamanai Outpost.  This brightly colored Oriole was cooperative and provided me with some good looks.  Below are some of the photos I took that day.
