The Big Kachina Gallery

I visited the Big Kachina site on the San Juan River on the morning of April 26, 2022.  This was our second stop for our rafting party after putting in at Sand Island and stopping first at the Butler Wash Panels.  For more details about the rafting trip that included my visit to the Big Kachina Site, see my blog.  I had heard about this magnificent site for many years and was glad that I finally had the opportunity to experience it.  The hero sized anthropomorphic figures are amazing detailed and quite striking.  This is the kind of site that you could look at all day and still not see everything.  Below you will find some of the photos I took on my visit to the Big Kachina Site —  I hope you enjoy them!
