Simon Canyon Road Petroglyphs Gallery

On  the afternoon of April 20, 2022, I hiked out to the Simon Canyon Pueblito and unknowingly drove right past a couple of nice petroglyph panels on the way to the trailhead.  I spent the next day (April 21, 2022) in Largo Canyon with Tori Myers, the staff archaeologist at the Salmon Ruin Museum.  At the end of our day together, Tori happened to mention that their were some nice basketmaker petroglyphs on Simon Canyon Road, about a mile and half before you reach the trailhead.  So I headed back out there and located the petroglyphs.  The light was not great, but I took quite a few photos.  Below you will find some of my photos.
