Red Tank Draw Gallery
I visited Red Tank Draw located between Phoenix and Flagstaff on the morning of Thursday, March 5, 2026 during my Spring 2026 Rock Art Trip. I had spent the night in North Phoenix and was headed to Flagstaff and the Northern Arizona Museum so I had a few hours to spare. I had long wanted to see the Saber Toothed Cat Panel in Red Tank Draw so I decided to stop by there. The draw is very scenic and was especially beautiful on this clear brisk morning. I decided to climb down into the draw quite some distance from the petroglyph panel and hike/boulder hop around and over the fast flowing creek in the bottom of the draw. While the abundance of water did not prevent me from getting to the panel I wanted to see, it did make the journey much more interesting and time consuming. Hope you enjoy my photos from that morning.
