Blackwater Draw Museum

I visited the Blackwater Draw Museum on the campus of Eastern New Mexico University on the afternoon of October 3, 2025 on the tail end of my early Fall 2025 Rock Art Trip.  While I had visited the Blackwater Draw Type site With Britt Bousman’s Field School in 2016, I had never been to the museum.  I am glad that I took the time to stop — it is such an important story to tell!  The museum is not particularly large or in any sense extravagant, it is full of interesting exhibits that I thoroughly enjoyed.  Here are some pictures that I took at the museum that day.
