Bajada East Rim Gallery

I visited the east rim of LaBajada Mesa on the early afternoon of Tuesday, June 3, 2025.  This area is to the south of the La Cieneguilla Petroglyph Site, and overlooks the rugged Santa Fe River gorge.  Thick knee-high dead grass made hiking difficult, but I found a number of petroglyphs while carefully picking my way along the rim.  This area would be fun to explore in more detail, perhaps in the winter months when the risk of snakes would not be quite so high.  To see my blog post of the trip that includes my visit to this site, look here.  Below is a gallery of photos I took that afternoon with my Samsung S22 cell phone.
