Butler Wash Ruins (Near Wolfman)


I visited the Butler Wash Ruins located near the Wolfman Panel on September 30, 2025 as part of my little rock art trip in the early Fall of 2025.  On my two previous visit to the Wolfman, I had not taken the time to hike down into the wash then up to the ruin on the other side.  While not spectacular, this little site was certainly worth the effort.  Two features in particular caught my eye — the large boulder with numerous bedrock grinding features, and the handprint petroglyphs on the wall midway between the ruins and below the viga holes.  I hope you enjoy my photos of this little site!
