Montezuma Creek Petroglyph Site

I spent the morning of April 23, 2024 exploring the Montezuma Creek Petroglyph Site, which is by far the largest petroglyph site in Montezuma Canyon, and stretches over a quarter of a mile along the wall of the canyon.  It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed the time I spent at this site.  To see my blog that includes my visit to this site, look here.  Below you will find some of the photos I took that morning.  I hope you enjoy them!

I took the photos in the above gallery with my Nikon D7200.  In the gallery below you will find some photos I took with my Samsung S22 cell phone camera.  I have found that when photographing rock art, sometimes my cell phone takes a better picture than my nikon camera —  go figure!
